August is Breastfeeding Awareness Month… I was h August is Breastfeeding Awareness Month… I was hesitant to post this because breastfeeding can be a journey with many emotional challenges. So, I want to highlight that the goal is to increase awareness of what breastfeeding entails. It’s equivalent to having a fulltime job and consistently doing overtime 😵‍💫. Many workplaces don’t have adequate conditions to pump despite laws that have been put in place. Moms need support! • • I had a hard time breastfeeding and opted to combination feed until my son was 14 months old.
